Fifteen years in the inspections field and counting! From 2003 to 2008, I worked as a residential property appraiser with Merillat and Associates in Dunedin, Florida, where I performed more than 1,000 valuation reports. Working as a route manager for ORKIN pest control and Homeowners Specialist for Allstate, we decided to open Advance Pro Home Inspection in 2013 and we are now inspecting more than 300 houses a year and growing. It's been wonderful having met and worked with excellent real estate and insurance professionals from Keller Williams, State Farm, Allstate, and other reputable agencies who have decided to use our services on a regular basis. More recently we have joint forces with PB Disaster Services, assisting FEMA in recovery efforts after natural disasters hits the area. It is our pleasure to assist clients to complete their real estate or insurance transactions with excellent reports.
Proud member of PB Disasters Services and FEMA approved inspector
In 1995, PB Disaster Services was originally selected by FEMA as the prime contractor for one of two nationwide contracts to inspect homes damaged as a result of a Presidentially declared emergency or natural disaster. The Disaster Housing Inspection Services Program provides emergency grants to qualifying individuals and families that have been adversely impacted by a declared disaster. In performing the work, PB calls on a large network of inspectors that are able to complete inspections within 24 hours of being deployed. These inspectors use handheld computers loaded with government provided software to capture damages to the property. This data is then used to generate a report that allows FEMA to make an award determination, often within hours of the completed application.
